- 2000/01 sweetwater bahia works correctly for 10 hours then overheats.

temp displaying higher temp than water feels. was on 104, felt like 80. shut off brkr 4 10 mins, seemed ok. ck about 10 hrs later, says 112/oh. shut off brkr 4 10 hours.turn brkr on, temp shows 93. set to 102. 8 hrs later, 117/oh. shut off brkr. 10 mins, 100 degrees. ck w/thermometer, says 102. ck lite, pumps, seem good. reset temp to 102. rmvd filter, jets run better on heat mode. ck 1 hour later, good. 12 hours later ck agian. get - - - code. turn off brkr. rpld fltr w/fresh one. 8 hours later turn on brkr. diplay says 97. ck w/thermometer, says 100 . ck 1 hour later display says 100. whats wrong? all help apperciated.

Usually when the water temperature does not match what the actual temperature of the water is in the spa it is the temperature sensor.

Yes it is the one mounted by the filter. It shoud be part number 6600-166.
