Hi,
I have a hot tub with a Balboa VSP unit and would like to have it wired to a smart transfer switch for a backup generator. The smart transfer switch can determine by opening and closing a low voltage relay when hot tub could be powered. It prevents too high of load being placed on the generator at once. This is easily done for heating and AC units in the transfer switch.
I tried calling Balboa technical support but they did not understand what I am trying to do. Does anyone know if there is a similar contact point on the Balboa controller board that I could run a wire to the transfer switch.
Many Thanks, Craig...

I am not exactly sure either and do not want to give you incorrect infomation. But by posting this somebody may have an idea on this set up.
