Thread: Bad Balboa Control Board?
09-12-2010, 01:45 AM #1
I thought I had a bad pump and replaced the pump when it failed to turn on and just surged on and off avery few seconds. The new pump is doing the same thing. So I checked for a clog or an air lock. Nope. I put in a new pump and switched the control around so the Jets 1 and Jets 2 leads were switched. I was able to determine that the new pump works fine just one when hooked up the the Jets1 connector on the main board. Any of the 3 main pumps will stop working and only surge on and off when hooked to the jets1 line output. Is there anything else to check or just replace the main board. I can hear a clicking sound of a relay on the board as the pump surges.
