I need to be clear on what exactly is happening. Does the low speed come on during a filter cycle or call for heat? Are you saying that when you push the jets button it goes automatically to high speed and not low?

when it heating up if on low and the temp light is on it starts on low than goes to high then if you push jets button to run low speed it will for a bit then kicks back to high speed and when runs it cycle filter cycle it goes from low to high and stays on high unless you hit the jet button to slow it down hope this make it clear

Has there been any recent service done on your spa? Did your spa operate normal with low speed for heating and filteration and this just started happening?

we just got the tub but put in a new balboa spa pack but our old spa did not do that just wondering if something is hooked up wrong or if this is the way it should be.

It sounds like something is not hooked up correctly. Can you email me close up digital pictures of inside the control box. I want to see how the jumper wires are hooked up, also which Balboa system did you install? My email address is mary@hottubworks.com.
