To change the mode on your spa you would push the "temp" or "set" button and then the light button.

Thanks Mary.
The Balboa SpaPac came from you folks with no paperwork of any kind.
I would like a manual.
In speaking with my son just now after resetting the tub,(it went down to 63 degrees over the weekend in the freezing temperatures)it seems that my eight year old granddaughter was messing with the buttons when she was in the tub last week(which is when the problem started) Had I in my possession a viable reference guide, I would have solved a lot of problems and saved quite a bit of aggravation. You folks just lost your Gold Star.
Time to call Brian/CustServ at your office to get a manual.
My Thanks, Bill De Lorenzo in NJ

If you would like to email me directly I can email you back a copy of the operation card. I appoligize for any inconvience. I have asked Brian about the operation manual as well and why one was not included. My email address is mary@hottubworks.com
The sleep mode will keep the spa temperature within 20 degrees of your set temp but will only heat during the filter cycle if it goes 20 degrees below. There is also a freeze protection which the pump would have been activated automatically if the temp drops below 42 degrees.
