Re this spa, spent $700 for repairs and all new inside boards etc. about a year ago. Now, it shuts off after a few seconds of resetting the gfi. Troubleshooting - says overheating (OH message) but this is not correct status as the temp is only about 80 now tho message board shows at 112 degrees so I am guessing that is why it shuts itself down - computer believes it is overheating- so perhaps faulty sensor or computer board or. . ? I don't want to spend another $700 but am handy and want to know if I can buy new equip and "plug and play" myself. If so, what do I need to order/get and what tips/help re doing so. Thanks. I am brand new to this site/forum. Looks like a great place to start.

That sounds like you issue is just with the temperature sensor. Usually when the water temperature is not matching what the actual water temperature really is it is the temperature sensor.

MaryH- thanks - my earlier attempts at replying are not posting so trying again. Anyway, where can I get a temp sensor? On this site? I am handy so likely can repair if some minimal instructions. .. advice?
