Thread: Sequoia SL850

Hi. I just hooked up a 1996 Sequoia SL-850. It heats, pump works, air pump works, all seems normal, but it will not turn off. I have to use the GFIC to turn it on/off. I have no literature on the wiring diagram or the spa in general. I was thinking it may be a faulty pressure switch but I have no diagram to check it against. I do know the closest switch to the left side while looking at the pump area, turns the jets off when depressed but starts again while released. All the while, the heater never fully disconnects with pressure switch but the element shuts down as normal with the heat setting dial.
Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

How do you set your filter cycles, is there a time clock on the front of the controller? If so, make sure all the tabs are not all pushed in or all out.

Yes, there is a timer but i have no idea how to set it. I pushed all the tabs back out just to check and see if the main pressure switch would work and it didn't. I normally filter once every other day by turning the GFCI on and letting it run a bit.
