I have an old jacuzzi hot tub about 13+ years old. The control panel is 1 knob and 1 cycle button with 1 light that indicates the heater is on. I've noticed the last few years if the pump runs on high for about 30+ minutes, the pump, heater and light shut off and the heater light blinks. After about 30-60 minutes, the blinking stops and all will work again. Some times it will fail on low if the pump runs for a while. I'm thinking the pump is ready to be changed out. What do you think?

It sounds like the spa pump may be thermally cutting out. I believe this because when the pump quits the spa heater is shut down and heat indicator starts blinking. That is a flow code, meaning system thinks pump should be on but there is not water flow going through so shuts down. You can take a voltage reading going to pump when it quits to verify. If you have voltage then pump/motor is probably going out. You can also remove the pump and make sure the impeller turns freely and is not binding up causing the motor to overheat.
