I'm new here and hoping someone would be able to point me in the right direction.
I have found a DreamMaker Spa that a my dad's friend is willing to take 50 bucks for to get it out of his way. He says the only problem is that it doesn't heat up anymore, but the pump circulates like it's supposed to and everything else works. I've done some research and noticed that DreamMakers do not have a separate heater, but rather heat the water with the pump itself. Would it be possible to install a heater in the plumbing of the tub after the pump, possibly one that would have it's own thermostat? The tub is ran off of 120v, if it's possible to add in a heater, I would like to run separate 240v to the heater and have the heater turned on by the stock controls via a relay. Is this possible?
