When I try to turn the spa on, the electrical switch trips so I can't turn it open. I opened the Balboa 2000 panel and see that one terminal os the heating element is burned down (left terminal on the picture), and also a part of the circuit board is affected.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? Should I replace the heating element first? Can you suggest the part? My spa is Weslo brand.

Thanks!

Yes it looks burnt at the heater terminal of the element (http://www.hottubworks.com/SpaParts/HeaterElements.php) too. I would definately start with the element and the copper terminal stand off strip. The circuit board (http://www.hottubworks.com/SpaParts/ElectricalCircuitBoards.php)may also have a burnt trace and may need to be replaced as well.

You were right - I purchased the heater element from you guys and it worked fine for a while. Then it stopped heating so I had to replace the whole board.
