Vita Spa L200 triped breaker

240V breaker trips with ozone gen OR blower plugged in. NO trip with pump plug only. got a "flo" indicator on the display, pump only runs for about 1 second, then shuts off for 5-6 seconds and keeps repeating cycle. removed the filter with no change. does this sound like a pump, blower, or ozone gen issue?

btw something was vibrating the hot tub like crazy just before the breaker tripped (had to have been the pump) but if it's a bad pump then why is the blower or ozone gen causing a breaker trip and not the the pump? Any ideas.

Was the heater (http://www.hottubworks.com/SpaParts/HeatersLanding.php) ever disconnected all the way to eliminate it out of the picture? If not, after power is off to spa, disconnect heater at both power leads going to it. Then plug in ozone (http://www.hottubworks.com/SpaParts/Ozone.php) and blower (http://www.hottubworks.com/SpaParts/BlowersLanding.php) one at a time to see if the breaker still trips. Not sure the tripping issue has anything to do with pump at this point. Is their constant voltage going to motor while it is cycling on and off?

Sooo, it seems as though I put the pump wires back incorrectly when i first began trying to diagnose the problem, thus causing the pump to run incorrectly and cycle on and off. put the wires back where they go according to the wiring diagram and voila! the pump runs beautifully again! (haven't had it full of water yet to know for sure) but i'm fairly confident it's not a pump problem.

so i tried plugging the blower and ozone gen in again (separately) with the pump wired correctly and still no good, both instantly trip the breaker. but as i said, the pump will run without them plugged in.

Tried disconnecting the heater wires, no change, both still trip the breaker.

That is good news on the pump (http://www.hottubworks.com/SpaParts/PumpsLanding.php). I guess it may be a coincident that both the ozone and blower would cause the GFCI (http://www.hottubworks.com/SpaParts/ElectricalFuses.php) to trip all of the sudden, but it can happen. The components that can cause the breaker to trip would be the spa heater (http://www.hottubworks.com/SpaParts/HeatersLanding.php) (usually first suspect), the blower (http://www.hottubworks.com/SpaParts/BlowersLanding.php), ozone (http://www.hottubworks.com/SpaParts/Ozone.php), and any of the pumps (http://www.hottubworks.com/SpaParts/PumpsLanding.php).

I have filled the spa again and turned the pump and heater on, seems to be working and heating so far! Will try to plug the ozone and blower in again just to see, but i suspect they will still trip the breaker as they have been doing... guess i could live without either for now if i had to. Thanks for the help!

Yes you can live without for now but I would eventually replace, especially the ozone (http://www.hottubworks.com/SpaParts/Ozone.php) so you can keep your water fresh. I would also recommend checking the check valves (http://www.hottubworks.com/SpaParts/PlumbingValves.php)on both units, usually when you have a tripping issue with either of these components it's due to water or moisture getting in them.
