my hot tub is a caldera spa.model-tahitian. series-paradise. anyway my heater is only heating when jet 1 is on.the heat indicator on comes on when jet1 is on.it does not put out heat at any other time.
Unless you have a 24 hour circulation pump (http://www.hottubworks.com/SpaParts/PumpsCirculation.php) or your breaker is a 60 amp breaker then that sounds like it is operating correctly. Most spas function this way and will only heat while pump (http://www.hottubworks.com/SpaParts/PumpsSideCenterDischarge.php) one is on. Your heater (http://www.hottubworks.com/SpaParts/HeatersLanding.php) will use a lot of amperage while on so that is why when other components are turned on it will shut off so the breaker does not trip.
