Chlorine (http://www.hottubworks.com/part-LT22337-item-hottub-chlorine-granules.php). Can be used alone or in conjunction with a mineral purifier (http://www.hottubworks.com/part-LT23434-item-hottub-mineral-purifier.php) and/or ozone generator (http://www.hottubworks.com/SpaParts/Ozone.php). As a stand alone sanitizer the chlorine levels should be a little higher 4-5 ppm than if it is being used with a mineral purifier and/or ozone. 3-4ppm is all right when used with mineral purifiers and/or ozone generators. It is in a granular form and dissolves almost instantly. Popular with customers who use their spas several times a week.

Bromine (http://www.hottubworks.com/part-LT45425-item-hottub-bromine-tablets.php). Can be used alone or in conjunction with a mineral purifier and/or ozone generator. As a stand alone sanitizer the Bromine levels should be a little higher 4-5 ppm than if it is being used with a mineral purifier and/or ozone. Bromine can be in a granular or tablet form. The tablet form takes longer to dissolve and raise the Bromine levels. Sodium Bromide (http://www.hottubworks.com/part-LTBEI-item-hottub-sanitizer.php) is often added to the water to help speed up the dissolving rate of the tablets, and increase the Bromine levels quickly. Popular with customers who use there spa maybe once a week.

Leisure Time (http://www.hottubworks.com/HotTubChemicals/#Sanitizers). A brand of portable spa chemicals (http://www.hottubworks.com/HotTubChemicals/#Sanitizers).

Nature 2. A brand of Mineral Purifier (http://www.hottubworks.com/part-LT23434-item-hottub-mineral-purifier.php). Cannot be used alone. Must be used with either Chlorine or Bromine. It acts as a secondary sanitizer and will allow for the Chlorine or Bromine levels to be at the lowest level of the ideal ranges, 3-4ppm. Ozone or shock helps stimulate the release of the zinc and silver ions in the purifier stick. Zinc is good for preventing algae and molds, silver is good for killing or damaging bacteria and viruses.
