I have a 2000 Z255 Jaccuzzi hot tub. The pressure switch is leaking.

How do I replace the switch? Is there a replacement for the Jaccuzzi R961000 switch?

Yes you can replace. First turn off the breaker to the spa so there will be no power going to it. Close slice valves (http://www.hottubworks.com/SearchResults.php?keywords=slice+valve) if you have them going to the heater so you don't need to drain the water down. Remove the wires to the pressure switch (http://www.hottubworks.com/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?preadd=action&key=2-3902) and unscrew it from the spa heater manifold (http://www.hottubworks.com/SpaParts/HeaterComplete.php). Install new switch by threading back into heater manifold. You can use a little teflon tape on the threads. Reconnect the wires to switch and open slice valves, or fill back up if you do not have shut off valves. The part number for the switch is 2-3902 or simply follow the links I set up on the blue word pressure switch (http://www.hottubworks.com/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?preadd=action&key=2-3902).

The switch that is on the heater does not look like the replacement you suggested.

It is white plastic with a black wheel in the middle it says 2 PSI on it

It has a place for three wires but only two are used

should I replace it with your choice

and do I need to make any adjustments?

They will come adjusted. Can you email me directly at mary@hottubworks.com

There should be a label on the pressure switch, I show they use a switch from TecMark. There should be the TecMark part number on it. Maybe you can email me a digital picture of your old switch?
