Balboa PVC composite molded guillotine style all purpose pool and spa valve. Ideal for use on spas and above ground pools as water cut-off valves to allow for service and maintenance to the pump, filter, heater, blower and ozone equipment.

Magic Plastics 2"" Uni-Body Slice Valve is a molded one-piece valve, with a Tee Handle on the top with locking pin, and a stainless steel shaft attached to a paddle. Used by Balboa in many spa packs. In the down position, the valve is closed. Twist to unlock the handle and pull up on the Tee handle and the valve begins to open, and is fully open when the handle is in the extended vertical position.

Magic Plastics 2 inch Uni-body slice valve will accept 2"" PVC pipe (rigid or flex) into the valve ports, or you can glue on a 2.5"" coupling on the outside. Slice valves are not meant to be moved under high pressure, they are meant to be open all the time, and closed only with the pump off, when you need to repair or replace spa pack equipment. When slice valves are used in a partially closed manner to restrict water flow, the paddle mechanism will deteriorate over several years time.
